Educational facilities don’t make or break a good school; the teaching staff does!

Operating and managing educational infrastructure facilities invites you to believe that you can contribute to the high-level goal of ensuring, not only the best school facilities, but the best schools.

Meeting our customers, public as well as private, we consistently get that it is the teachers that make or break a good school, not the facilities. This can of course stem from many different factors, but we do think that this is where we, as the educational infrastructure provider, can make a difference.

When asking our customers and school operators how we can best help them with their purpose of providing the best schools, we wish to put a large focus on designing facilities that support the teachers. In one of our schools in Sundsvall our property management organization did just thisDuring a larger refurbishment project of the International English School (IES), the teachers at the school were invited to contribute with their ideas and suggestions, which enabled the best outcome possible.

The daily life of a teacher is subject to stress and strains, such as noise, crowding, questioning, and pressure from the students as well as from the parents. To not only perform, but to thrive in such an environment you must of course get the chance to paus in calm and safe surroundings. The teachers’ lounge is this place, a place for recovery and knowledge transfer.

We are proud to provide facilities with the best possible layout for the teachers at IES Sundsvall, and we hope that this, in extension, really helps them with their persistence in providing the best schools for their students.

Nordiqus is always looking for new collaborations with the school operators within the Nordic countries and we are always eager to learn more about how we can contribute to ensuring the best school for todays and future generations!
