Nordiqus expands partnership with City of Joensuu for Daycare extension project in Finland

Nordiqus is delighted to announce the expansion of its partnership with the City of Joensuu to construct an extension to an existing daycare facility in Vehkakuja, Joensuu. This project, enabling 75 more children, marks a significant milestone in our ongoing collaboration.

Nordiqus is always dedicated to learn about our customers’ needs and through cooperating with the customer, finding innovative ways to support their operations. The Vehkakuja daycare extension, with a 15-year lease agreement, will provide enhanced facilities to meet the changing demands of the Joensuu community, ensuring a nurturing environment for children.

“We are honoured to deepen our partnership with a valued customer the City of Joensuu and contribute to this meaningful project,” says Sini Vuoristo, Head of Region Finland – “Working alongside with local partners, project management A-Insinöörit and constructor Soimu, allows us to support the community further.”

The construction project is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2025, with the facility expected to be completed and ready for use by the end of 2026. The project highlights Nordiqus’ dedication to foster local collaboration and delivering sustainable, community-focused solutions.
